Well, we enjoyed Halloween with 2 little pirates and wonderful weather trick or treating with our neighborhood friends.
Thanksgiving was ours to host! First time for Jeff and I with Jeff's parents, sister, my sister, and Nana Ooo-Hoo to join us. If I remember right, we had no snow as well on Thanksgiving and had nice weather!
Parker turned THREE on December 8th. I can't believe I have a 3 and 4 year old. We celebrated Parker's birthday at home with camo and a hunting cake. He had his friends over and the kids and adults had a great time! At this time, Jeff had the outdoor rink done so the kids were able to play hockey and skate outside. Weather was still pretty nice for December!
Christmas....my Parents were finally home from Arizona. We had a busy Christmas starting with the day before Christmas Eve we celebrated at my cousins house and all the NORDS! Christmas Eve we did our lefsa making with my mom and dad, went to church, and had a wonderful dinner at Jeff's parents house. Followed by opening more presents late at my parents house with Aunt Shannon! Christmas Day was very relaxing at our house with my mom and dad and sister. I think naps were involved that day by more than just the kids!
Happy New Year! We were lucky to have Jeff's parents offer to take the boys and we celebrated the new year with friends and family by going to a SIOUX hockey game and then out for some drinks and fun until midnight.
January and February we stayed busy and even got some snow now to play in. Cullen just got done with Park Board hockey and Blues hockey this last weekend. He was skating 4 days a week with these teams on top of skating in the backyard with daddy! Parker has gone from barely being able to stand on the ice with his skates on to being able to skate back and forth on the rink. Its so amazing how fast kids learn and pick up on things! When its too cold out (which hasn't been very often this year) they are constantly shooting pucks in the garage! They are definitely hockey obsessed! Parker also finally potty trained himself! It has been about 5 weeks now. We forgot a diaper one night and he woke up dry, he hasn't worn one since, not even at night!
March will be the end to Sioux hockey games for us, a "moms" trip to the cities for me, and Cullen starting some swim lessons at the end of the month.
We all are looking forward to my parents coming home from Arizona in April and will be with us for Easter.
Jeff and I are REALLY looking forward to our first trip booked together since we went on our honeymoon. We are going to Vegas for 3 nights the beginning of May. And of course the end of May is when we will celebrate Cullen's big birthday turning FIVE! Now that seems old! I of course am entering a new decade too....Big 3-0 for me! (Shhhhh)
Here are some pictures from the past couple months!
